Firewall & Server Configuration for iCONN Databases

A service of the Connecticut State Library and your local library in partnership with the Department of Higher Education.

All iCONN users need to ensure that their firewalls and proxy servers are properly configured with the correct IP addresses or equivalent domain names. Please double check each vendor's technical support information for possible updates via the links provided.

Additional Proxy Server Configuration Information

AGent (reQuest / iCONN federated search portal)

To facilitate access from behind a firewall, ensure that your firewall configuration permits access to the following destination ports.

TCP port 80 (for all web traffic)
TCP port 2010 (for Z39.50 access to search Auto-Graphics Z39.50 targets)
TCP port 3915 (for AGCAT libraries only - to facilitate upload/download of records, locations maintenance, etc.)

If you have a Remote Patron Authentication Server, and you restrict access to this server based on source IP address, you must have the following addresses in your configuration:

165.193.106.*
