The Cataloging functions in reQuest allow libraries to add,
delete, and modify library holdings and to download MARC records using
reQuest/WebCAT, the staff cataloging mode. The Full Cataloging Module,
reQuest/CAT, contains MARC editing and record creation software, and provides
access to additional resouce databases such as the Library of Congress MARC
file and the name and subject authority files. Holdings may be added and
records downloaded for transfer to local systems.
