Problem Reports

A service of the Connecticut State Library and your local library in partnership with the Department of Higher Education.

Many access problems are caused by incompatible browsers and firewall configurations. Please be sure you have checked the following: Internet Explorer 5.5 (or higher), Firefox 1.0.7 (or higher), Chrome 4.1 (on any platform), and Safari 4 (on Windows PCs and on Mac OS 10.4 or higher). Note: AOL and SBC browsers must be minimized so that you can use IE or Netscape. See browser requirements for individual databases. Cookies and Java Script are enabled. All popup blockers are disabled. Library staff have checked that their firewalls and servers are properly configured. See Firewall and Server requirements for individual databases. Problems requesting an item? If you are unsure how to request an item in Find Books (the statewide library catalog), please see this tip. If you are unsure how to track the status of your requests, please see this tip. Requests for items in the statewide library catalog are processed in accordance with the policies of the local borrowing and lending libraries that participate in this service; if you have questions about the status of your request, please contact your local library. Note: Items such as DVDs and audiobooks may be difficult to obtain through this service.
